The weather was a bit iffy but we figured we could still nip out to grab a treat for our dinner. We crossed our fingers that the weather would hold and headed out past Port Chalmers and up the winding road to Aramoana. We set off down the beach and got blasted from behind by a vicious wind, but eventually reached the rocks at the far end. As I wait impatiently for fishing season to open, I cast my eyes over local Dunedin areas where I can still get my fishing fix. I’ve cross-referenced the fishing regulations with the South of Dunedin brochure provided by fish and game in order to get a big picture idea of what’s available to me.
